How it all began...
Dr SkinnyBones started out doing Haunted houses as early as the late 80's. While working at Emu Systems, he hooked up with a bunch of crazy mad scientist that put on amazing high tech shows. He moved on to installing automated effects for house parties and Haunted Houses open to the public. In 2000 he decided to build some commercial products. The first two products to come out of the Skinnybones lab swere the Pumpkin Choir and the Bat Eyes.
Pumpkin Choir
Dr Skinnybones created a singing pumpkin show that used only his propriety controller box (Revenant) , an audio CD, and a home stereo to create and automated show.
Ben, Anthony and Dr Skinnybones creating the sound tracks for the Pumpkin Choir. Anthony wrote all the music and Ben wrote all the custom lyrics. Skinnybones wove it all together. We used an Emu Emulator III for all the vocals and control tracks. The songs were composed music first, then each of the characters were recorded separately and all combined together in post production. It debuted in 2003 to an entertained crowd. |
